ENF Scholarships


Elks National Foundation (ENF) Student Scholarships

The ENF awards $2.296 million annually in MVS scholarships to 500 high school seniors nationwide.
The first- and second-place awards are among the largest provided by any major fraternal or service organization.
Applications for the Most Valuable Student Scholarship are available online at enf.elks.org/mvs and are due by November 15, 2021.

  • First Place: Two $60,000 scholarships ($15,000 per year)
  • Second Place: Two $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 per year)
  • Two (2) $20,000 Jack London Scholarships ($5,000 per year)
  • Two (2) $16,000 Scholarships ($4,000 per year)
  • Two (2) $12,000 Scholarships ($3,000 per year)
  • Four (4) $10,000 Scholarships ($2,500 per year)
  • Four (4) $8,000 Scholarships ($2,000 per year)
  • 482 $4,000 Scholarships ($1,000 per year)


ENF also provides money to each state organization: these funds normally allow up to six $1000 scholarships to local lodge winners.
Summerville Elks Lodge also awards several $500 scholarships to local participants.
ENF, through the Legacy Awards scholarship program, awards 250 college scholarships worth $4,000 each to children and grandchildren of Elks members.
ENF also provides Emergency Educational Grants to help children of deceased or totally disabled Elks in the form of renewable one-year grants of up to $4,000.

Legacy Award Scholarships are reserved for current high school seniors who are citizens of the United States.
Applications for the Legacy Awards are available online at enf.elks.org/leg and are due by February 7, 2022.
Legacy Awards are reserved for children or grandchildren of active members.


Emergency Education Fund Grants are available to provide financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks
who wish to obtain or further their college education.
