Sunday Football

I would like to point out that we are closing in on the annual "dry season". That is, the end of the football season. Now, I know we have more football fans than what I've been seeing on Sunday, so why not drop in on Sunday for the first or second game (or both) and enjoy our new 60" TV. Wives are welcome also!!!

A special thanks to Gene and Butch for instigating the Sunday football. Personally, I love it! Sure beats raking leaves. Besides, the leaves will be there after the season is over as well as all the other aggravating indoor and outdoor projects.

The State's Major Project.

Of the 19 Elks Lodges in South Carolina, Summerville ranks 5th in Per Capita giving at $12.95.  Greenville is No. 1 spot at $31.35 . Figures as of December 17, 2008.

Lounge HOURS

The lounge will be open Wednesday at 4 PM & Friday at 5:00 PM and at 12 Noon on Saturdays.  Dinners are served Friday night.  See what's cooking!  Where else you going to get a great meal for $7.00???

There are some dedicated souls that are contributing heavily to Wednesday's festivities.  They need some new faces.  So, instead of rushing home from work and firing up the lawn mower or grabbing a rake, grab the wife, girlfriend, or a potential new member and join the Wednesday afternoon gang.  That yard work will be there Thursday (and Friday, and Saturday....).

The Lodge is operated solely by volunteers...be one...

There are many positions open on the various Lodge Committees in the coming lodge year. Take a little time and support your lodge.
